Hey guys. I know you've all been working hard to keep up with the 31-Day Challenge, and I've been impressed by the outpouring of blog entries that have come out of this thing. I'm actually pretty impressed that so many of you have stuck with it despite tight holiday schedules and occassional bouts of blogger's block.

You've done so well and you only have 2 days to go! Keep working hard to the end of the week. You can make it!

If you are one of the challengers and you have kept up well, I will need your home address. I have info for most of you, but either way, please send your snailmail deets to iamawinner@31for31.com. Prizes will take some time to get out, so look for them in mid-January.

i have a question--does it count if we didn't blog every day but we still have 31 posts in 31 days?

i've really enjoyed the challenge--i looked back, and i have more posts in december than i did for all of may to november. thanks!

I'm going with a very liberal interpretation of the challenge. There were a few nights when I started writing before midnight, but didn't actually publish the entry until after, so I can't beat up other people for not holding to the letter of the law. The spirit of the challenge was to get people blogging regularly, and so if a challenger missed a day here or there, but got 31 (or more) entries up and made a good effort to post daily, I'll accept that. I think there are a couple people who fall into that category.

Brian actually proposed extending the challenge to see who could post daily for the longest without missing, in which case we would have to be much more legalistic, or no one would ever lose.

I'll post more about that possibility later.

When I went to Canada, I had to pre-write most of those posts, because my in-laws have dial-up! When I posted on Dec. 24th, I forgot how long dial-up takes!

I did it out of pride. Pure pride.
