Things that I Love #2: Fritos
I love Fritos corn chips.
Last night, Brooklynne sent me to the sore with a list:
- skim milk
- cherry tomatoes
- blueberries
- chips....
Ok, skim milk is pretty obvious. And there were no cherry tomatoes, but grape tomatoes are essentially the same thing. A blueberry is a blueberry. But when I got to "chips," I was dumbfounded. I kid you not--Kroger has no less than 437 different varieties of "chips."
So I did what any reasonable husband would do. I got two kinds. First I got some regular tortilla chips for dipping (I figured that would be a safe bet), but then I went for the gusto, and got a bag of Fritos.
Brooklynne later described Fritos as "sick" and "gross." However, I am ready to declare Fritos my number one favorite snack within the chip category. What is your favorite kind of chips?

Actually, I think I decribed Fritos as toxic... which they are!

I am a big fan of Fritos...I also like that they only have something like 4 ingredients so you know what you're eating!
flour tortilla chips are the best. especially if they are from carrburritos. but you can get them at kroger, too.
Also love salt and vinegar.
I love Fritos as well but am dismayed by how bad they are for you. The smell of them in a closed area like a car also makes me ill. As a child my brother refused to stop eating his Fritos and I ended up barfing on the side of the road. My dad used one of my brother's shirts to wipe my mouth.
Cape Cod Chips, for sure!
Naomi's favorite is the organic version of Fritos at Trader Joe's.
Oh, and my favorite is salt 'n vinegar ... from Trader Joe's ...
i'm with brooklynne on the fritos! i'm also grinning at how you were bamboozled by the countless varieties and got two kinds. evan would totally do that.
I love sour cream and onion, although I have to brush my teeth soon after eatting them to get the onion smell to go away!
I don't care for Fritos, but Timmy likes them, and Chandler too, but what doesn't Chandler like!

umm i have to vote in with a top 3 bcause different occasions call for different chips...

I'm a big fan of anything with a cheddar flavor. Right now my top 2 are:
Ruffles cheddar & sour cream.
Lays Stacks cheddar.
And I agree with Cory, you got a ton of comments on this thread. Your many threads on politics? no. Middle-of-the-night emergency room visits with a kid bleeding from her head? Tampoco (spanish for "also no"). But ask people their fav chip? You get an outpouring!
