Literary Discussion Continued

In the comments of the last post, the discussion led to me thinking about Pechorin, a character from a book with whom I strongly identified. Have you ever felt like a character was speaking to you? If so who?

Maybe a better question--who are your most and least favorite characters? Feel free to include movies and plays too.

I don't read much fiction, but I was reading a Flannery O'Conner short story a year ago called "The Turkey" (I'm pretty sure that was the title), and the main character in the book was a little boy - I think he was 10 or 12 - and his thought life was very much like my thought life at that age. It was scary how a thirty-something woman could into my mind like that.

As for movie characters - Jason Bourne. Cuz that's how I roll.
