Return of the Halleigh Show

The other day, a friend mentioned to me out of the blue, "I'm just going to ask you about the issues. You're very political." It turns out she had been on my blog recently, which is great!!! But, it also signals that since I began the report cards, the blog has gone over the top in its election coverage. I still want to cover a few more of the main candidates, but I'm refocusing on the things that REALLY matter. Like Halleigh.

Here's a new Halleigh Show. It is really long (almost 10 minutes) and thus, a little lower in quality. In the future, I will take my wife's advice and offer shorter, better quality shows, but I just didn't have time last night to slice this up. Brooklynne, Kona and I make brief cameos (and please note that I have had a haircut since this was shot!).

So without further ado, I present to you the Halligator!

I haven't been able to watch the whole thing, but thought this was funny. At the very beginning of the video, Halleigh makes a happy noise. When that part played, Anna looked up immediately from playing and looked right over here with an intense look as if to say, "Who was that?! Where is she?!"

Timmy and I just watched the show. Timmy kept saying "halleigh?". LOL. I think every kid needs a laundry basket of their very own. It's amazing how long they can play with something so simple! Oh...I loved your hair!!

After watching the video, I watched some of the others that were linked to it at the end, and I was shocked at how much Halleigh has changed in the last couple months. Her hair has really grown and the shape of her face is starting to mature. It is so amazing. Man, she is turning into a little girl, not just a baby anymore. Why does this happen so fast?

Halleigh and the laundry basket are very funny. I could have used her help this week packing and moving donated items for Share Your Holiday at BCBSNC. If you want her to start earning her keep, you know who to call. :)
