TWJ approaching 5 years old

wayback_logo_sm.gifWriting about Brooklynne's new site made me thinkk about all the changes TWJ has experienced over the years. So I headed over to the Internet Archive's Way Back Machine and searched to see what they had in their vaults. We went live with a site in December of 2002, even though our oldest record is in May of the following year. We added a blogging tool in the summer of 2005. I'm going to post a few of the screen shots after the "continue reading" break. Unfortunately, the archive's spiders didn't pick up the site during some of its greatest manifestations, including a few months when it was bright green with yellow stripes. I loved that design, but I got so many complaints that I had to change it. Anyway, check it out.

Brooklynne and I started the site to help organize our wedding. I created the page with Notepad and MS Paint.

A hacker broke security at our hosting provider and left his mark long enough for the spiders to pick it up. I've censored his/her message a little.

I'm not sure why the images in this shot aren't working, but the orange and blue became a recurring theme for TWJ. This is also the first record after we began using Movable Type.

Our site had a slightly more understated look by the time Halleigh was born. Perhaps I'm getting old (or better taste?). Actually, the colors here are a result of a request for suggestions. I think it may have been Kristy Kent who wanted Carolina blue.

You find the most random things on the internet. You must be REALLY busy at work. ha ha ha
