Feed the Efirds
As many of you know, David and Elizabeth (Miles' sister) are expecting their first child, a girl, to be born literally any day... Elizabeth was due on the 29th of July.
I wanted to coordinate the meals being brought to them after they get home. Miles had the wonderful idea to make a sign-up website. So...
here is a link to the first Miles and Brooklynne collaboration website: www.milestravis.org/old-site/feedtheefirds
This way, I don't have to deal with everyone's crazy scheduling conflicts; meal volunteers can just go to the site and sign-up for a time that works for them and has been pre-approved by Elizabeth. We are still working out the last minor glitches, but for the most part it is done, and we are VERY happy with the way that it turned out. And I would also like to add that I, yep that's right folks, Brooklynne, did quite a bit of the actual HTML coding. It was hard and a lot of work, but it was interesting. Give it a look and tell us what you think.

Please give my congrats to Elizabeth and Dave. I think that Elizabeth is one of the sweetest people ever! So, since we are in northern Virginia I doubt that we will be contributing a meal but we will be praying for them. Great job on the website! What a great idea. Hey, Miles, when are you coming to Gainsville again?
Leigh brings up a good point... please do not volunteer yet. I'll let you know through e-mail when you can volunteer.
Thanks.
I'll be praying for Elizabeth as she waits, can't wait to hear that baby Efird is HERE! And, like Leigh, I'd bring a meal if I could.
Wives that code websites are HOT!!!
