Brooklynne's latest projects

| | Comments (3)

I know that we haven't posted in FOREVER! But we have been busy, busy, busy. I am somewhat of a hypocrite, because I check other people's blogs when I have a minute and I am always so sad when a few days have gone by without a new post... hello! It has been a month since we last posted.
So, I wanted to share my latest projects with you all.

Miles built a changing tray to go on top of the dresser that we use as Halleigh's changing table. Until recently, it has just been raw, unsanded wood. He made it in a hurry shortly after Halleigh and her changing pad almost slid off onto our hardwood floor. Needless to say, the tray was made out of necessity, and although Miles did a great job making it... it needed to be painted. Here are the pictures of the end product. Halleigh's room is decorated in daisies and ladybugs, and the colors associated with them. The daisies are painted on the tray and the lady bugs are little 3D wood cutouts that I bought at Michaels and hot glues onto the tray.
We ordered the letters from a company on-line and they came unsanded, so I sanded, and then painted them red and green and bought the ribbon and tied bows and hot glued them to the letters and hung them on the wall. I have some epoxy stickers in ladybugs that I need to stick on a few places on the letters to carry on the ladybug theme, but I have yet to so that. I'll have to take another picture once I get the stickers on.
