Halleigh is NOT a banshee. Little girls who cry a lot at the beginning grow up into sweet women...

So what IS your (and Brooklynne's) sleep schedule like?

*comes out of lurkdom*

After two sweet girls my observation is that the closer they slept to me, the less they screamed and the better we all slept. Seemed illogical to me at first but worked with two very different kids.

A sling really helped with the daytime crying, too.

She's beautiful, Miles.

Our sleep schedule varies. Lately though, there have been more and more nights when Halleigh screams for hours. Last night, she started screaming about 10 and cried until 2:30, when we had finally had enough. Since Halleigh always sleeps in the car when we go places, we left and drove around Raleigh until 4 (btw, Krispy Kreme is no longer open 24 hrs/day). Halleigh slept the whole time, but when we got back home, we were barely inside the door when she started crying again. I keep telling myself I just have to make 18 more years....

Also, Kristin, thanks for the advice. We just got a new sling and we're looking forward to trying it out.
