As promised, here is the video of Richard, a stranger we met on the road, explaining why skating should not be a crime. This would not be the last skating incident of the road trip, but Richard does a good job of representing the sunny side of the sport.
The next time that I get pulled over for speeding I am going to tell the officer that he is infringing on my spiritual, emotional, and physical development.
Forget skateboarding...I'm just glad Richard was willing to speak up for handstands. Those are HUGE for development in young people.
And juggling! That's especially good for people his age and younger.
