Halleigh's First Bath Video
In the past, everybody's parents had embarassing pictures of them naked in the bathtub that resurface in yearbook ads and wedding slideshows. Well, now we can have entire bath-time videos online. As promised, I plan to offer one Halleigh video and one YGW video each week. Today's video is a short clip of Halleigh taking a bath on her two week birthday. Click "continue reading" to watch the movie.

You guys are way better bathers than we were when Daniel was 2 weeks old, that's for sure.
we shut the clip off before the part where Brooklynne felt it showed her being a "brutal mother."
cute.
I don't have kids, so excuse the ignorance of this comment, but it seems like you guys have some kind of technique down. Does someone teach you that or do you just pick it up? She is so super cute!
Hey Miles, the clip of Halleigh in the bath tub is so cute. Tell Mrs. Travis i'm thinking of her and i miss her!
no one teaches you, but if you're doing it wrong the kid will let you know!
Ah, I love my little niece. She is such a joy to me. When the clip ended I discovered that my face was way up close ot the screen. I was so interested in the video that I had leaned in ridiculously close. Halleigh, I love you!
That is so fun. Did she like it as much as the video made it look? I want to see some of those brutal mom videos.
The brutal mom footage just looks brutal, to my defense. This child is so pampered... for example right now I am holding her and typing, because she gets mad if I put her down. We are talking seriously spoiled.
But getting back to the bath. She just really likes the bath, we got lucky there.
Although, if we had put up a video of a diaper change you would not think that we were good at this parenting thing. She HATES it, screams and kicks the entire time. We even bought a baby wipe warmer thinking that what she hated was the cold wipes, and that did help some, but there are still blood curdling screams ay changing time.
Brooklynne -- please don't think you are spoiling your child by holding her!! As a former 24/7 holder and a maternity nurse, I promise you it's the best thing you can do for her right now, if she acts like she wants it. It will not last forever, so cherish it now. There. I gave my unsolicited advice. Oh, and my son is 2 and he still screams at diaper time. :)
