Youth Group
Tomorrow, Brooklynne and I will be taking the middle schoolers from the church to King's Dominion amusement park. We have found the youth group gig to be a real challenge. Not that the kids are bad or possessed or something. But they really aren't at the point where we're used to engaging our peers. So this post is mostly call for prayers and support, so that our time with the kids won't be simply entertainment, but that we can build friendships and trust that will allow us to be there for the kids when they need us or when God wants to use us. wow. never thought that I'd be sitting in India, sweating from every pore in my body...reading about my cousin on the internet, the other half of THE CLOG----and crying.
I miss you guys so much. just reading about your day-to-day life makes me realize how much I want to be with you both, with bill and sandy, and everyone else. 4 more days....seems unbearable and yet so short (im definitely experiencing a whirlwind of emotions). See you soon though!! I am coming to DC on the 15th, leaving the 17th?? Maybe youll be around. LOVE YOU BOTH!!!

we love you too and we're really looking forward to seeing you and hearing all about your adventures! It can be rough and special at the same time and we're praying for you that the special will make the rough all worth it. Treat it as a marathon and not like a sprint. Good luck your last 4 days!
