Emmaus Way is my sister's new church community in Durham. The church meets in a loft above a trendy coffee shop/ice cream parlor on 9th street, a center of community life in one of Durham's oldest neighborhoods. They are also experimenting with some new approaches to sharing their faith that are really promising and I'm glad that they are making some progress in establishing a presence that is accessible and welcoming, as well as fresh and authentic.
