Blogging Hiatus

So, I am embarrassed that my blog is still Christmas themed... so I am not posting until it is fixed. Miles has my new theme; why it isn't up, I don't know. I have asked him SEVERAL TIMES! hint. hint.

Sorry, I'll be back as soon as Christmas is over.

No, I'm not dead...

... just sick and busy.

Tornado Warning

Our house is right in the middle of a tornado warning... wish us luck. It lasts until 4:30pm.

Things I need to blog about... aka things you can look forward to hearing about:

1. Barack Obama rally

2. Great Lakes/ Ben's graduation

3. Bill Clinton

4. Museum of Life and Science

5. Eric

6. Halleigh's 18 month doctor's appointment

Wow! I am SO behind!

Time Out

Halleigh is currently in time out for throwing herself on the floor in a fit of rage... tantrum central.  Isn't it called the terrible TWO'S?!?  Why is it starting at 1 1/2?

A Sneek peek

bush.jpgI am sick of my blog.  Not the blog itself, rather the way my blog looks. I had grandiose ideas of taking pictures to put up as my banner and making it fun and reflective of my personality. My blog is not reflective of my personality, it's boring... I am fun.

So, my dear friends and readers, this blog is overdue for a MAJOR overhaul. I don't know what I am going to do or what it will look like when it is done, but I can't stand it anymore. I need to breathe some life into this space.

In other news, I need to give two book reviews.  One on Ellen Foster and the other on Deceptively Delicious. Stay tuned...

p.s. I was looking for a picture to express the way that I was feeling toward my blog, and this was a really funny picture... somehow capturing EXACTLY how I feel. I can totally relate to both parties pictured.

Alive!

I am in fact alive... barely.  After spending a week near death with what Miles thinks was the flu, I think I am finally on the mend, although I can only breath out of one nostril right now.

Sadly, Halleigh caught whatever I had and is now the sweetest sicky ever.  She's so pitiful and cuddly. I love it and hate it at the same time.

In other news, we took Kona to the dog park last night and it was painful apparent that she is in need of several more trips to the dog park... lumbering oalf that she was.
