So in keeping with tradition, I have started the cake-every-month-for-the-first-year for Beau. This month was a little rough, but we got in done in the nick of time and enjoyed it just before bed.

I took him to his one-month doctor appointment today... 10lbs 3 oz and 22 1/2 inches long. This boy is growing like a weed! Maybe he got some of Uncle Ben's tall genes afterall.

Yes, the baby is here. Beau Everett arrived on Thursday, April 23rd. He is beautiful and amazing.  I can't believe that he is already a week old.

Halleigh has adjusted well, so far, to being a sister; only a few bumps so far.  She is a little mommy, she loves Beau, and tells everyone that he is HER baby Beau. It's great; I hope they always love each other like this.

I am tired, sore, and start to panic everytime I think about my mom leaving... but I am loving every minute of it. ha ha ha

It being Jan. 2nd, I thought that I should think about picking a New Year's Resolution. I can never keep a resolution, and often I don't really even try, but today in the shower I thought of one that I can keep... hopefully.

Drum roll please... have a baby.  Yep, 2009 is going to be a big year! :)

I don't think Halleigh gets it, but she did like all the attention paid to her shirt! Oh, and by the way Miles and I are VERY excited too!
