A Mother's Love

| | Comments (1)

It was too quiet in the back of the house this morning and so I went back to see what damage was occuring when I happened upon this sweet sight.

Halleigh and babies.jpg

Lately Halleigh has been obsessed with putting her babies to bed. All soft surfaces in our house are used, but her favorite are the pillows on our bed. What is really sweet about this time was that she covered her babies with HER taggie. She doesn't share her taggie with ANYONE! I don't know if she thought that her babies needed it more than she did, but she lay down next to them and just sucked her thumb... without taggie.  What sacrifice, a mother's love knows no bounds.  I hope this means that she is going to be a great big sister.

Although a minute later when I was sitting on the bed with her talking to her about how sweet it was that she let her babies have her taggie, she grabbed her taggie and cuddled up with it. ha ha ha When her mom is around she switched from her babies' mama to her mama's baby. I love it!

I can't get over how stinkin' adorable she is! That is so sweet of her to share her taggie, even if only temporarily. :)
