All Star Epic
Last night we watched the all-star game... the whole thing. That's right we were up until 3:00am. It was ridiculous to have been up that late, but it really was quite a good game. The American Leauge won (fyi if you live in a cave). It was the longest all-star game ever and it was also the last all-star game that would be played at Yeankee Stadium (they are in the process of building a new stadium just down the road). So it really was a game for the history book, so we HAD to watch it. Actually, Miles was up anyway because he was in the process of finishing the historical survey for Raleigh Durham Construction.
Anyway, JD Drew won the MVP, which brings me to the point of the post...
Miguel Tejada should have won a second MVP award... maybe they could have shared the car. He really was quite instramental in keeping the National Leauge in the game into the 15th inning. Conversely, the MUVP (most unvaluable player award) goes to Dan Uggla. He had the worst game of his life! At one point, when he had accrued 2 errors in one inning, Miles and I were questioning as to whether or not he had been paid to throw the game. Needless to say, Uggla had an Ugly game and probably wont see another all-star game for a while.
